About the event
This class is intended for creatives at every career level.
Did you promise yourself you wouldn’t end 2023 with a shoebox full of receipts but you did anyway? Is there even a shoebox?
Are you overwhelmed at the thought of starting tax prep? Will you avoid it until the week of April 15th?
Do you have no idea how much money came in or went out of your bank account this year?
This is the class for you!
In this Live Virtual Class, Art Beyond founders Esther Davidson and Elizabeth Palmisano will walk you through the steps to get your creative business ready to file your 2023 taxes and start 2024 with a plan you can stick to.
Topics will include:
Resources for cleaning up your 2023 income and expenses:
- Best practices to identify income and expenses
- Overlooked expenses that can be written off
- When to get an accountant
- What if you didn’t file a previous year’s taxes?
Get setup for success in 2024:
- Best practices for keeping track of expenses (and income!)
- Why you need a separate business bank account
- Importance of keeping a Creative Business Budget
We’ll also have dedicated time at the end of our class for Q&A. So write down your questions, grab a cold drink, and we’ll see you on Zoom!
