Each artist has created a storyboard to plan what their book will be about. They're working on the artwork and images that will be part of their stories.

For our K–3 artists, we asked them what is something that flies, swims, and grows? Their answers will become creative elements that they'll use throughout their books.

They also chose a book to take apart and rebuild. They will remove the original pages, add their own artwork and ideas, and create a new cover. This will turn the book into something unique to them.

In the coming weeks, we will also begin working on moving parts. These interactive elements will give the books another way for readers to explore and engage with the artwork.

I’m excited to see the books continue to develop and to watch our artists grow in their creativity, confidence, and storytelling skills!
