9.30/10.7.26 SAIL Art Club

Week 3: The artists worked on their books. They made stamps of some of the characters in their books and practiced using them. They used a simple stamp technique using foam and pressure to draw their characters. Then, they pressed the stamps onto stamp pads and on paper to print their designs.

Week 4: The focus was on painting pages in their books with acrylic paint. We discussed how to use the paint, how to change colors properly, and how much paint to use.

Their books are coming along well! I am excited to see how their projects continue to develop.
